One Day Training

An in depth one day course covering all the key aspects of the new legislation for automatic doors BS EN 16005. Including risk assessment procedures for new installations & upgrades of exist installations, relevant related standards & other legislation. Electrical installation requirements for automatic doors. An overview of the previous legislation BS7036 & its use in conjunction with the new standards. Followed by a review of the progress of your learning.

2 Hour Refresher

A two hour review of the salient points covered in the One Day Training Course, the content is designed to give you a warm up session in preparation for the Authorised Technicians Exam. The course is recommended for candidate who have already attended the ADSA One Day Training course or who have already extensively studied BS EN 16005 & the related legislation.

Authorised Technicians Examination

The exam gives accreditation from the ADSA that the candidate has a full understanding of the legislation and is competent to specify, install & maintain powered door systems.

Individuals who take the above training options prior to taking the exam have a passs rate of over 95%
