Welcome to the Automatic Door Suppliers Association
- Benefits of using an ADSA member
Before specifying a set of automatic doors, the following points should
be checked out with the supplier:
Will the installation comply with British Standard 7036 1996
covering safety of powered doors for pedestrian use and the guidelines
laid down by ADSA which cover both the provision and fitting of
safety devices?
- Are these devices being offered as standard equipment?
- Can the installation meet the provisions of BS 5588 covering fire precautions
in the design, construction and use of buildings.
- Is the supplier able to offer the required after-sales support, including
a long-term maintenance agreement?
If the answer to any of these questions is no, then the supplier is probably
not an ADSA member.
To ensure that standards of safety, quality, reliability
and after-sales service to both specifiers and users are met, insist
on an ADSA member.
